place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
prepare the filling:
in a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. add diced pears, honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, cardamom, and allspice. cook until pears are tender and the mixture is thickened (about 5 minutes). cool.
